Food For Thought has been run by me, Deirdre McCarthy, since I started up the business in 1998.
I have the City & Guilds Cook’s Professional Certificate including Principles and Practice of Advanced Culinary Techniques.
I have been awarded the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health's Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and Food For Thought is registered with the Environmental Health Department of Sevenoaks District Council.
Food For Thought is also covered by the necessary public liability insurance.
I have wide interests in different styles of cooking, and try to put these into practice in Food For Thought’s imaginative and professional menus.
